That right there is me with Omae (pronounced like “oh my”, one of the best photographers/writers for Japanese publications and web sites, inventor of the phrase I frequently quote “Tokyo Never Don’t Sleep) , a friend I love to harass. In that two year old photo above, he’s holding a biz card size flyer for his club night called Shabuya in Little Tokyo which starting tomorrow night will be called TRES in DTLA. It’s once a month and every time I’d want to roll but wouldn’t, either ‘cuz I’d be on deadline or sick or out of town. Two years later, I promised myself and him, I’d finally make it thru. Hope you guys come on through as well.  Oh by the way Omae loooooooves super tight hugs (he really doesn’t but I give him super tight long hugs and spread rumors that he does)

Whoa SDCC is in a couple of days and I’ve been working my ass off. This heat wave hasn’t helped my grind at all.
